Inner Vision Blind Support Group

Visually Impaired Peer Support Group is a community where people who are blind or have low vision meet to share experiences, coping strategies, and resources in a safe, understanding environment, reducing isolation and fostering empowerment through shared challenges and successes, often facilitated by peers also with vision loss. Join us every 2nd Friday of the month.

Blind Hustle Dance Group

In Person & Via Zoom

The "Blind Hustle Dance Group teaches ballroom and other styles to visually impaired dancers using touch and verbal cues, or events featuring blindfolded dancers in Hustle competitions, showcasing how blind individuals master intricate partner dances by relying on feeling the rhythm and partner's movements. These groups and events highlight adaptive dance techniques, proving that blindness doesn't prevent complex choreography, often incorporating elements of traditional Hustle.

F.A.C.E Ceramic Classes

Beginner ceramic classes teach fundamental clay techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building, introducing students to the potter's wheel, clay properties, and basic firing/glazing, focusing on hands-on creation of simple functional or decorative pieces like bowls, tiles, or dishes to build confidence and understanding before exploring more complex art.
